Ode to Twilight

Like many of the people in this world I love the Twilight Series and have read all of them. As you know, Twilight takes place in Forks, Seattle. While we were in Seattle we drove 400 miles to go see Forks. It was really fun and made the book come alive. I love the books and can't wait for the next one.

Sleepless in Seattle!!

When Cory and I got married we decided that we were going to save our change and have it be our travel fund. After about 10 months of saving we counted our change and had $940!!! Can you believe it?!?! So we went to Seattle for Fall Break. It was awesome and I loved spending every minute of every day with my sweet husband. I fall more and more in love with him with each passing day. He is AMAZING!! Anyway we had a ton of fun and can't wait until our travel fund grows again and we can go somewhere else.

Pumpkin Patch...aka Kid Heaven

I took my first field trip with my kindergarten students. It was crazy, but really really fun. They are the cutest and I love them so much. They got to go in a corn maze and found a thirty foot slide. They saw a fat pig named Leroy who weighed 1000lbs.!!!! And they got to pick out their very own pumpkin to take home. They absolutely loved it, but boy was I tired!!

Ridgeline Run!

Here are my students running their little hearts out at the Ridgeline Run, an annual fundraiser. After they ran they got popsicles!!

Meet School Bug!

So Cory and I were walking in to our house when Cory almost stepped on this disgusting bug!
We captured him in some tupperware and brought him in the house. I decided that my Kindergarten students would love him so I took him to school the next day. We learned that he is a Jerusalem Cricket and the students named him School Bug! Needless to say he died five days later. . . but he was a good class bet for a short time!!!

My Favorite Niece and Nephew!

Here is the cutest girl in the world, and no I am not talking about me. I love this cute little girl, how can you not.... look at those eyes.
Here is Alyssa and I sticking out tongues out!
Making a funny face.... or you could call it ugly.
Here is our little L. Tom Perry. Isn't he a cutie?
And last, but certainly not least, Alyssa is MAD! And she should be, this was right before she was going to the airport and leaving her cool aunts, uncle, Grandma and Paka! She really didn't want her diaper changed!

I DID IT!!!

I did it! I graduated from Utah Valley State College in Elementary Education. As well with my endorsement in Early Childhood Education. Thanks very much to my parents. It all paid off because I start teaching Kindergarten at Ridgeline Elementary in six weeks! May the force be with me :)

The Olsen clan!
Me and my HUBBIE!

Biggest Jazz Fans

Because the Utah Jazz did so well this year and my husband is their biggest fan, we attended many of the playoff games. It was really fun.....when they WON!!
We got our faces painted!
Cory with Dee Brown.

The Honeymoon Continues

And so the honeymoon continues! My only request in BOSTON is that we went to the Salem witch museum. It was fun and scary at the same time.... there were witches in the park practicing witch craft.
Our very first Thanksgiving together.
The Boston Temple... we were going to do a session, but I forgot my recommend!
This was probably the best part of the trip! Here we are at a Patriots (my favorite team) and Bears (Cory's favorite team) game. It was awesome.. We are even sporting our jerseys.

Our Honeymoon

Here are the newlyweds in BOSTON! Neither one of us had every been so we decided it would be fun. We had a great time and made a lot of great memories together. Here we are at Fenway Park, one of the oldest baseball fields in America.
Look at our cute tour guide at Fenway Park!
Here we are in front of Paul Revere's House! We went on a tour called Freedom Trail that took you around to all of the historical site. It was one of our favorite things.
This is our favorite pastry shop. We went there multiple times!
Here we are in front of the original Cheers. We went in and had dinner.
