Cory's 29th Birthday

Cory turned 29! We had a great day together spending time as a family. We started the day off with caramel french toast... YUM! Then we headed to the zoo and rode the train. Later that night we had friends over for cake and ice cream. It was a good day and we are so grateful for Cory. He does a lot for our family and it doesn't go unnoticed.

Enjoying our breakfast!

Jordyn ready for a day on the town... one of my favorite pics of Jordyn!

Jordyn and Mommy on the train, I think she likes it!

Let's have some lunch!

Happy Birthday Babe!

First Piggy Tail

Jordyn had her first piggy tail! You wouldn't believe how hard it was to get a simple little piggy in her hair. The girl won't sit still for the life of her!! We have done it several times since and she whines the whole time I do it! I guess she doesn't understand that she has many more years of cute hair-dos ahead of her, whether she likes them or not!!! The whole event made me happy and sad all at the same time. I was happy cause she just looks so darn cute, but at the same time I was so sad because she looks like a little girl not a little baby anymore:(

Colorado Springs and Denver

Holli came down to New Mexico to visit us, and Steve got jealous that she got to spend time with Jordyn so we met him in Colorado Springs. We had so much fun! We went on a hike, shopped, relaxed, and ate. We love spending time with Cory's parents and love the way they love Jordyn.

All tuckered out on the way home

Two weeks later they called and asked us to meet them back in Denver...

Twins Come to Visit

In August the twins, Jaxon and Skylar, came to visit us in Albuquerque. We went to the zoo, people watched at the flea market, played games, played add-on dance (hilarious!), and had so much fun! Thanks Jaxon and Sky for coming down, we LOVED every second. Sky and I rode this camel at the zoo! Come to find out he was in the movie "Sahara"

10 Months

We are in double digits! I can't believe here 1st birthday is around the corner. Here are some new things Jordyn is doing:
Says mama, dada, nana (food)
Signs eat and more (occasionally)
Has eight teeth and his getting her molars
Loves dancing with daddy, CUTEST thing ever!
Has an obsession with books! She loves to read.
Is letting go of the furniture and stands by herself
Loves to growl and play monsters
Jordyn has such a funny personality and she thinks she is funny, which I am not going to lie, she is FUNNY!
Likes pushing her walking toy around the house
Loves being outside, HATES the grass.
She is a great eater!
Has found a new trick that she thinks is hilarious, she puts her finger in her mouth and gags herself, it drives me NUTS!
Feels the need to always be playing with a cell phone. She put it to her ear and talks, and she calls a lot of people, mainly Bri!
Enjoys playing with her tongue and sticking it out at people.

That is a whole bag of chips that she decided to dump out and start eating off the gross floor!

We love you little Jordyn Bug!

Sweet Jordyn

One of my best friends growing up, Aubrey, has taken up photography. So I asked her if she would take some pics of Jordyn. Aubrey did an amazing job! We absolutely love all of them and think that she captured Jordyn's personality perfectly. Thanks again, Aubs! We will always cherish them.

Here is her blog aubphotography.blogspot.com

Check her out! She is AMAZING!

Olsen Family Pictures

Our present for my parents Anniversary was Olsen Family Pictures. They were taken in my parents backyard. I love how they turned out. I can't believe how big our family is getting! The last family picture we got was five years ago and since then we have added seven people to the family!

Tibblefork

The whole family went up to Tibblefork for a picnic and to ride the four wheelers. We had a blast!

Swimming and Slip 'n' Slide

While we were up for my parents 30th Anniversary we had a bar-b-que and went swimming. I would definitely say that the highlight of the trip was when my dad build a giant slip 'n' slide in the backyard. It was ten feet wide and thirty feet long. We stuck the hose at the top and lathered our bodies with dish soap. It was hilarious. The giant slip 'n' slide will definitely be a new summer tradition!

I love my parents backyard, we have made countless memories around this pool.

Splish splash

Three moms and three babies... this could be dangerous!

Yes, we pushed our 9 month old down all by herself, and yes she loved it!

Our Little Cheeseball

My dad got a new high-tech camera and it has a feature where he holds down the button and it just takes picture after picture. Here are a few faces he got from Jordyn all within about 20 seconds!

What a little Cheeser!
