"My dad is funny!"

I told you she thought her dad was funny!!

Cutest thing ever!

Seven Months

It seems like Jordyn has grown up so much in the past month. She has mastered the army crawl which has made her very mobile. She follows me around and pats my feet. The stage she is in is SO fun.
Here are her new skills:

She loves to swing at the park

She is getting good at sitting up

Her favorite spot to play is in the kitchen, playing with magnets on the bottom of the fridge

She has a new found love for mirrors and lets out a little squeal in front of them

Jordyn is becoming quite the mommy's girl!

She thinks her dad and his funny faces are HILARIOUS

She rubs her pointer finger and her thumb together and just stares at them

She claps!

Jordyn sticks her tongue out at people... she doesn't have very good manners

She has FIVE teeth... first her bottom middle ones, then her top fangs, and just last night came her top right one!
She can drink out of a sippy cup

We love you little lady!

Botanic Butterfly Garden

This summer we bought season passes to our zoo, the aquarium, and the botanic gardens. Every year the botanic gardens harvest hundreds of butterflies. This past week they came out of their chrysalis'. We were able to go in a green house and have all of the butterflies fly around our heads! It was really fun and something we will do in the coming years.

Notice her little tooth on the top right! She now has FIVE.

YUMMY PEACHES!!

Memphis, Tennessee

One day we went on quite the ROAD TRIP! First we went to Tunica, Mississippi to eat at Paula Deen's Buffet (she is a famous chef). We then headed to the Mississippi River and it was AMAZING. I can't believe it is a river. After the river is when the adventure began; we ended up in Arkansas! Let's just say Arkansas was a very interesting place with even more interesting people! We then ended the night in Memphis eating dinner on Beale Street.
Uncle Jeffrey and Jordyn. Jordyn loves him, they are cute little buddies.

Beale Street is a CRAZY place!!! Full of life and beer:)

Poor Jordyn was all tuckered out!

Great Grandma and Grandpa Herrmann

While we were in Tennessee we stayed with Cory's grandparents. It was so fun to spend time with them and let them get to know Jordyn. We were lucky to get a four generation picture! Thanks for letting us stay at your home, we LOVE it there!

Nashville, Tennessee

This past week we were able to go to Tennessee with Cory's parents and his little brother Jeffrey. We went to see Cory's grandparents and let them meet Jordyn. While we were there we got to do some really fun things. Thanks Steve and Holli for the vacation; it was much needed and a lot of fun!

Here is our little family at the Parthenon. It is an exact replica of the Parthenon in Greece.

Jordyn loved swimming in her new turtle floatie named Irvin!

We went to the Country Music Hall of Fame! These are all of the country albums that have sold A LOT of copies.

Me and my true love;)

The night before we went to the Hall of Fame they inducted three new members. The red carpet was still out so we got our picture so we could feel FAMOUS.

This was a wall that was painted on the side of an abandoned building, outside of the Hall of Fame.

Jordyn and her Poppa eating at Olive Garden... YUM!

Our Day at the Playground

We went to the park to play tennis, and I must say that we are getting pretty good. We hit the ball back and forth 30 times in a row (yes, we do count)! Jordyn played on a blanket and she was so patient so we took her over to the swings! She really likes to swing, she just kicks back and relaxes.

Then mommy and daddy got on the swings! I have quite a few tricks I can do so I was the teacher... and well let's just say that Cory was the student and he rides the short bus to school!!

Cute Boredom

With Cory in his last few weeks of school this semester, Jordyn and I have had A LOT of time just the two of us. We try to do fun things but in all honesty, sometimes we are down right BORED!! Today when the boredom hit I decided I would try my hand at photography. I really wish I was a good photographer and I would like to take a class sometime and get a really nice camera. But for now here is our definition of...
CUTE BOREDOM!
